Our seniors were unlucky to lose out 2-18 to 3-14 away to Moortown last Friday evening, the reserves had a good 1-22 to 0-11 win to remain top if the league.
Coaching continues on Saturday mornings for all our U6.5, U8.5 and U10.5 teams at 10:00 a.m.
Our annual Summer Barbecue takes place this Saturday evening in the Corner Bar with entertainment provided on the night, an event to be enjoyed by everyone who supports the club, the draw for the players development fundraiser will also take place on the night, tickets for the Barbecue can be purchased in Montague’s Shop.
Earlier on Saturday there will be a Family Fun Day in St. John's School for all our youth players and parents from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Can the parents of any child in the parish that is intending to attend An Gaeltacht this year, please contact club secretary Joe Rafferty (07821 719969) as the club are providing bursaries towards the cost for any children attending.
The Ciorcal Comhrá continues every Sunday morning in The Village Table from 11am-12 noon.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (1st) were 2, 6, 9, 11, 17 and 29 there were 23 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Ruairi McNulty went close to scooping the jackpot winning £250 with 5 correct numbers.
