The season starts this weekend for our reserves when they play Trillick in Páirc Ghearrdhroma on Friday evening at 7:15 p.m.
Our U18’s were defeated 0-14 to 0-08 at home to Carrickmore last Thursday and 1-16 to 1-10 away to Ardboe last Sunday while the U18 Development team remain undefeated beating Cookstown 6-10 to 2-07 last Sunday. The first team play Fintona in Páirc Ghearrdhroma this Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and then host Cookstown on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. while the Development team play their final game at home to Omagh on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
Our U14’s return to action this Saturday when they travel to play Pomeroy at 11:00 a.m.
Coaching continues on Saturday mornings for all our U6.5, U8.5 and U10.5 teams at 10:00 a.m. Our Gaelic Start for Pre-School and P1 boys and girls continues on Sunday mornings over the next few weeks at the Dromore Sports Complex from 10:50 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
All supporters are reminded that membership is now due for all players and supporters, if you haven’t received a letter to complete membership online there will be membership forms available in Montague’s Shop.
Irish language classes continue for Beginners and Improvers on Monday evening also from 7:00 p.m. in St. John’s School. The Ciorcal Comhrá continues every Sunday morning in The Village Table from 11am-12 noon.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (15th) were 11, 21, 23, 24, 25 and 27 there were 6 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Next week’s jackpot in Ireland's biggest club is £25,000, remember you can do the lotto via tickets in all local shops or online at www.dromoregfc.com.
Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly meeting to the McQuaid (Bill), McElroy (Anne – Brookeborough), McGrade (John – Canada), Mullin (Sean), Love (Dessie) and McCarney (Kevin – Irvinestown) on their recent bereavements.
