Our reserves got their season off to a successful start defeating Trillck 1-09 to 0-10 last Friday evening.

The U18’s had a good 2-15 to 2-07 win away to Eglish last Sunday. The U18 Development team travel to play Clonoe on Wednesday (21st) at 7:30 p.m.

Our U14’s lost out 4-12 to 1-11 in their championship game away to Loughmacrory. This brings an end to the U14 season, many thanks to the players and their management team of Kevin O’Brien, Joe Campbell, Joe Rafferty and Ashley Turner for their efforts throughout the year.

Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bun Rang (beginners) is from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Mean Rang (Intermediate) is also from 7:00-8:00 p.m., everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (16th) were and 9, 15, 16, 22, 28, 30, there were 18 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly meeting to the O’Donnell (Sean), Colton (Stephen), Bonner (Jean) and Connolly (Bridie – Killyclogher) families on their recent bereavements.
