Our senior team defeated Moortown 2-21 to 1-02 in the Jim Devlin Cup last Friday, this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. they host Aghaloo in the final group game.

The U18’s return to action this weekend when they travel to play Donaghmore on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. while the U18 Development team host Eglish in Pairc Gheardhromma at the same time.

Our U14’s lost narrowly 3-08 to 3-07 at home to Loughmacrory on Saturday while the U14 Development team were defeated by Omagh. This Saturday at 11:00 a.m. the U14’s travel to play Eskra while the U14 Development team are at home to Carrickmore at the same time.

Youth coaching for U6.5, U8.5 and U10.5 continues on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., all youth players must be registered to take part, if not already registered there are registration forms in Montague’s Shop, registration fee for youth’s is £10. There is a link on Facebook and sent through the youth groups on Whatsapp where you can sign up online also.

The club are hosting a very important ‘Addiction Awareness Evening’ in the Sports Centre on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m., guest speakers are former Dublin footballer Philly McMahon and current Tyrone senior player Conn Kilpatrick. All parents and youth’s from age 15+ are asked to come along to this very worthwhile talk.

Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bun Rang (beginners) is from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Mean Rang (Intermediate) is also from 7:00-8:00 p.m., everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (19th) were 4, 14, 15, 23, 24 and 28, there were 11 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Eileen McKenna went one better winning £250 with 5 correct numbers.
