Heartiest congratulations to our U16 players and management who won the U16 League on Saturday with a convincing 0-15 to 0-08 victory, a great way to end the season. Well done to their management team of Niall, Tiernan, Kieran and all the Joe’s who put in tremendous work with the two U16 teams throughout the year.

Thanks to all who helped out with the Paul McGirr Ulster U16 Club Championship last weekend, Magherafelt defeated Four Masters3-13 to 0-07 in the semi final on Saturday and Dromintee defeated Burren 1-13 to 2-09 in the quarter final on Sunday. Keep an eye on Facebook for the second semi final details.

If you are thinking of Xmas presents there will be copies of our club history book available to purchase in Montague’s shop over the next few weeks.

Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45 p.m., Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 p.m. and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00 p.m., everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.

The winners in week 1 of our 5 week Xmas draw were Patrick Warnock £250, Oran McCrory £100 and Martin Colton £50, the winners of week 2 were John Higgins (Dublin) £250, Jim Crozier £100 and Matthew McCaffrey £50.
