Best of luck to our U16 Development team who play Cookstown in the Development League Final this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Killyclogher
Parents are asked to note that the men’s and ladies club will be running a 4 week Gaelic Start program for Playschool & P1 children beginning on Friday 8th November from 6:15 – 7:00 p.m, all children welcome.
The launch of the Paul McGirr Ulster U16 Club Championship will take place on Friday evening in Garvaghy with refreshments provided at 7:30 p.m., everyone is welcome to come along.
The dance classes with Marie Phelan continue on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9pm in the Sports Hall. Come along and bring a friend for an evening of dance and craic.
Tickets are now out for our annual 5 week Xmas draw, sellers will be calling at houses locally and there will be an online link, there will be £3,000 in prizes with tickets priced at £10 each or 3 for £20, some nice prizes which would be a great boost coming up to Xmas, we would appreciate everyone’s support.
The dance classes have now finished up for the year, well done to all involved.
Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45 p.m., Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 p.m. and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00 p.m., everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (30th) were 14, 15, 17, 21, 26 and 29, there were 13 winners with 4 correct numbers each and both Orla Murray (Fintona) and Nathan Waterson went one better with 5 correct numbers winning £125 each. Next week’s jackpot in Ireland's biggest club lotto is £25,000, remember you can do the lotto via tickets in all local shops or online at www.dromoregfc.com.
Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent club meeting to the McNulty (Sally), Keenan (Michael – Loughmacrory) and O’Neill (Gerald – England) families on their recent bereavements.
