Our U16’s had two victories to round off their league section defeating Both Domhnaigh 2-12 to 1-08 on Thursday and then defeating Greencastle 3-09 to 0-03 on Saturday. They now qualify for the league semi finals. The U16 Development team play their final league game at home to Carrickmore this Saturday at 12:45 where a win would guarantee them top position in the league.

There was a great night in St. Patrick’s Hall last Saturday evening as the club hosted the semi finals of Scór na nÓg, there was a great attendance so thanks to everyone who helped out and also congratulations to our Ceol Urlise team who qualified for the county finals.

The dance classes with Marie Phelan continue on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9pm in the Sports Hall. Come along and bring a friend for an evening of dance and craic.

Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45 p.m., Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 p.m. and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00 p.m., everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (16th) were 10, 14, 15, 17, 24 and 25, there were 3 winners with 4 correct numbers each.
