Our seniors drew away to Dungannon last Friday evening in the league on a scoreline of 1-16 to 4-07 then on Saturday afternoon they had another draw away to Errigal Ciaran 1-7 to 2-04. Hard luck to our reserves who lost out 1-14 to 1-13 in the championship quarter final on Friday following an epic encounter with Killyclogher after extra time. This Wednesday (21st) both teams host Pomeroy at 6:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in Páirc Gheardhromma. On Sunday afternoon both sides are in action again in the league away to Clonoe at 2:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
Comhghairdeas to our U18’s who defeated Errigal Ciaran 2-15 to 0-10 in the league quarter final on Monday evening.
Our U16’s had a 3-14 to 1-06 victory over Galbally last Thursday. This Thursday at 6:45 p.m. our U16 Development team travel to play Eglish.
Last Saturday evening was a magnificent occasion for the club when we had our club fundraising Grand Ticket Draw in the Central Bar. A great evenings entertainment was had by all, many thanks to Aidy Maguire and the Central Bar staff, Tom Ward and the ladies club for the food and most of all to the Whistling Donkeys for providing the music. As we all know a huge sum was raised with the draw and words cannot be found to express enough thanks to all who organised the draw particularly Liam O’Neill and Aodhan O’Donnell, all who sold the tickets and most importantly to all who bought the tickets, our club will be forever indebted to you all.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (14th) were 1, 4, 16, 18, 23 and 29 there were 10 winners with 4 correct numbers each and both Jamie Donnelly (Strabane) and Grainne MacRory went one better winning £125 each with 5 correct numbers.
