Our seniors defeated Edendork 0-11 to 0-10 in a tight encounter last Friday evening. Comhghairdeas to our reserves who began their championship campaign with a 2-10 to 1-06 win away to Carrickmore. This Wednesday (14th) both teams travel to play Dungannon at 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. then on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. the seniors travel to play Errigal Ciaran. The reserves have their championship quarter final on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. away to Killyclogher. Then next Wednesday (21st) both seniors and reserves host Pomeroy in Páirc Gheardhromma at 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
Best of luck to our U18’s who play their league quarter final on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Páirc Gheardhromma.
Our U16 team play away to Galbally on Thursday (15th) at 7:00 p.m.
There will be no youth training this Saturday morning as the club is hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for all boys and girls up to U12.5’s. A feast of fun and activities will be available to all and refreshments will be provided for adults and children.
Then on Saturday evening there will be an occasion we are all so glad to see when we have our club fundraising Grand Ticket Draw in the Central Bar. This is a ticket only event, tickets are free of charge and tickets can be got in the Village Table on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event marks the culmination of 10 months of hard work by many members of the men’s and ladies club and there will be huge excitement when the draw winners and the total fund’s raised will be revealed followed by a great nights entertainment. There will also be an opportunity on Thursday evening for anyone that wants to buy tickets for the draw.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (7th) were 9, 14, 15, 28, 29 and 30 there were 10 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Benny Bresnahan went one better winning £250 with 5 correct numbers.
