All attention this week will be on the senior league, our season gets underway with an away trip to play Carrickmore on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m.
Our U18’s defeated Donaghmore 1-17 to 0-06 last Sunday morning. The U18 development team defeated Eglish 6-09 to 2-15 last Thursday in Pairc Gheardhromma then on Monday evening they continued their good form with a 4-13 to 1-06 win away to Errigal Ciaran.
Coaching continues on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. for U6.5’s, U8.5’s and U10.5’s.
Membership forms are still available in Montague’s Shop, membership fee’s are £10 for youth and £50 for adult, if anyone wants to join our Cairde scheme contact Joe, Aidy or any committee member.
Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (Complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45, Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00, everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (22nd) were 10, 11, 12, 19, 28 and 30 there were 9 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Frank Hagan went one better winning £250 with 5 correct numbers.
