Maith Thú to our senior team who won the Jim Devlin Cup last Wednesday defeating Clonoe 0-12 to 1-04, an encouraging start to the season. This Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. our reserves return to action when they host Pomeroy in Pairc Gheardhromma.
Our U18’s defeated Galbally 5-13 to 2-10 last Sunday in the league. This Thursday evening at 7:30 our U18 Development team are due to host Eglish.
The U16 league gets underway this week with the U16 development team hosting Carrickmore at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday then on Wednesday (22nd) evening the U16 first team play away to Greencastle at 7:30 p.m.
Our U14’s were defeated 8-13 to 5-04 by Errigal Ciaran on Monday evening, they play their final league game on Wednesday (15th) evening at 7:30 p.m. at home to Greencastle.
Coaching continues on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. for U6.5’s, U8.5’s and U10.5’s.
The club would like to pay a huge thanks to all our development draw ticket sellers who are continuing to do a magnificent job raising funds for our new changing room complex, keep the good work up.
Membership forms are still available in Montague’s Shop, membership fee’s are £10 for youth and £50 for adult, if anyone wants to join our Cairde scheme contact Joe, Aidy or any committee member.
Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (Complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45, Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00, everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (8th) were 7, 9, 14, 22, 23 and 29 there were 12 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Mary Monaghan (Fairview Gardens) went one better winning £250 with 5 correct numbers.
