Dromore St. Dympna's Weekly Club Notes
Comhghairdeas to Tiernan McCarron and Tom Maguire who were part of the successful Omagh CBS squad that won the recent Oisin McGrath Cup.
Our U18’s had a very good 3-09 to 2-08 victory away to Errigal Ciaran last Sunday. They are back in action this Monday afternoon at 6:00 p.m. when they host Fintona in Pairc Gheardhromma. The U18 Development team are away to Donaghmore on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
Our U14’s were unlucky to lose out to a last minute goal on a 3-05 to 2-07 scoreline against Dungannon, this Saturday they travel to play Coalisland at 11:00. Our U14 development team are back in action on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. when they host Carrickmore.
Coaching continues on Saturday morning for U6.5’s, U8.5’s and U10.5’s at 10:00 a.m., all parents are reminded to join in the Whatsapp groups to keep up to date with times and dates for training sessions and games.
Membership forms are still available in Montague’s Shop, membership fee’s are £10 for youth and £50 for adult, if anyone wants to join our Cairde scheme contact Joe, Aidy or any committee member.
Maith Thú to all who took part in the big Litter Pick round the parish last weekend, it was a tremendous community effort and it is hoped we can keep everyone educated in how to keep litter from our townlands.
Our Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes continue on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (Complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45, Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00, everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.
There are still come editions of our Club History book ‘Dromore St. Dympna’s Club and Parish’ available, the books are priced at £20 each and are available for purchase in Montague’s Shop or can be bought online via the link on our club website and social media, postage can be arranged at an additional cost.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (20th) were 4, 8, 15, 18, 27 and 30, there were 19 winners with 4 correct numbers each and both Cathy Cassidy and Kieran Devenney went one better with 5 correct numbers winning £125 each.
