We wish the best of luck to our ticket sellers who are back out on the road this week, the upcoming draw is vital to help fund the massive project we have coming up at our grounds, if you are not already helping and would be free for an evening or two every week contact chairman Niall on 07909 972709 and we can get you slotted into a team.

The club are delighted to announce two new initiatives to get us out and active for the new year, on Sunday mornings at 11:00 at Pairc Gheardhromma we have ‘Get Dromore Moving – Social Sunday’s’ which is a gentle run or walk in a safe environment around the grounds for all ages and abilities, a great social occasion for all with refreshments provided after.

Also on Wednesday’s at the pitch at 11:00 we are having a ‘Men’s Walking Group’ which is aimed at older men in our community, it is a social walk around the grounds, a chance to catch up with other men of similar age and have a bit of craic along the way.

We are delighted to announce that a new round of Ranganna Gaelige, Irish language classes has started and continues on Monday evenings in St. John’s School, Bunrang 1 (Complete beginners) is from 7:00-7:45, Bunrang 2 (beginner improvers) is from 7:45-8:30 and Meanrang (Intermediate) is from 7:00-8:00, everyone welcome to come along and join the ever growing Irish language speaking community in Droim Mór.

The club has launched our Club History book ‘Dromore St. Dympna’s Club and Parish’ and the book has been getting great reviews. As can be easily seen a tremendous amount of work has went into this book over the last few years and it will be of interest to all associated with Dromore. Books are priced at £20 each and will be available for purchase in Montague’s Shop or can be bought online via the link on our club website and social media, postage can be arranged at an additional cost.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (17th) were 3, 9, 13, 15, 20 and 29, there were 17 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Patrick Teague (Drumskinney) went one better scooping £250 with 5 correct numbers.
