Our U18’s put in a great performance to defeat Galbally 2-08 to 1-06 in the league semi final last Sunday. All attention now turns to this coming Sunday when the boys play Eglish in the county final, the game takes place in Galbally at 1:30, all at the club wish the best of luck to the players and management.
All club supporters will be delighted to hear that the launch of our Club History book will take place on Saturday 2nd December at 8:00 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Hall. The book in titled ‘Dromore St. Dympna’s Club and Parish’, a lot of work has went into this book over the last few years and it will be of interest to all associated with Dromore, it will make a great xmas present for many people at home and abroad. Books are priced at £20 each and will be available for purchase and collection at the launch night, we will also be putting a link up where the books can be purchased online, postage can be arranged at an additional cost. The Ceili and Two Hand dance classes continue on Tuesday evenings in the Sports Hall from 7:30-9:00, these are always a great evenings craic and a bit of gentle exercise, everyone is welcome to come along and refreshments are provided afterwards, cost is just £3.
Ranganna Gaeilge - Irish language Classes are continuing on Monday evenings at 7pm in St. John's school. There are 3 levels, Complete Beginners, Beginner Improvers and Meánleibhéal, for more info contact Cónall (07815784962). The Ciorcal Comhrá Irish language conversation continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (15th) were 11, 15, 19, 24, 26 and 29, there were 16 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Next week’s jackpot in Ireland's biggest club lotto is £25,000, remember you can do the lotto via tickets in all local shops or online www.dromoregfc.com.
Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly meeting to the Marron (Castleblayney), McArt (Irvinestown), McCarney (Fintona), McCusker, Logue, Donnelly (Trillick), Brown (Drumquin) and Fitzpatrick (Omagh) families on their recent bereavements.
