Following the festival last week focus this week returns to the playing field when the senior team gets their championship campaign underway on Sunday evening at 6:15 in Carrickmore where they face the reigning county champions Errigal Ciaran, best of luck to all involved.
The U16 team were defeated 4-14 to 0-09 by Galbally last Thursday, they were due to play Owen Roes in their final league section game on Tuesday evening and then on Sunday they travel again to Galbally for the first round of the championship at 12:30, please note this time may change so keep an eye on facebook and the club website.
The U13's get their season underway when they host Carrickmore this evening at 6:45.
The final U8 blitz of the season takes place this Saturday at 10:00 in Gardrum Park, this is the final chance to see the budding stars of the future in action for this year.
There will also be coaching for U10's on Saturday at 10:00 at the pitch.
The club would like to congratulate its members Tomas Quinn, James McCaffrey and Oonagh McArlde on their tremendous success athe the All-Ireland fleadh, they once again done their parish proud.
We would like to thank all those who gave up their time to help with the music festival last weekend.
Any fully paid up member looking to put their name in for the draw for tickets for the All-Ireland Football Final must give their names to Joe Rafferty (07821 719969) or Jimmy Quinn (07779 403826) no later than Sunday 15th September, any orders after this date will not be accepted.
Last weeks lotto numbers were 18, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 26, there were 7 winners with 4 correct numbers each. The winner of the £50 monthly draw was Tom McQuaid. Next weeks jackpot will be £13,350.
