Our U16 team completed their season when they were defeated by Trillick in the championship last Wednesday, the young development team also lost their championship quarter final away to Carrickmore on Sunday, this brings to an end a brilliant season for the lads who moved up from grade 2 to grade 1 and finished fifth in the league, well done to all the players and management team.
Last weekend was one that will live forever in the memory of the gael's of Dromore when we had over 500 people young and old taking part in the ‘Dromore Big Solo’ event, the event was an unprecedented success and sincerest thanks goes to all who took part in, sponsored and organized it, the finale in Pairc Gheardhromma was a sight to behold with our 4 championship winning captains and incoming GAA President Jarlath Burns completing the final mile in front of a packed stand, what a time to be a part of our wonderful community and festivities carried on long into the night.
