Our senior team get their season underway this Friday evening in Pairc Ghearrdhroma, the reserve game is at 6:30 and the senior game is at 7:45. We would ask that all supporters please refrain from parking on the main road for safety reasons, there is ample parking in the chapel car park and St John’s school Our Reserves made the long trip to Moortown last Friday emerging with a 2-12 to 2-05 win.

The U16 team defeated Trillick 2-13 to 2-07 last Thursday, this Sunday they play at home to Ardboe at 11:00. The U16 Development team had a good 5-13 to 3-05 win at home to Killyclogher, this result qualified them for the quarter finals.

Comhghairdeas to St. Dympna’s Primary School boys who won the Canon Tom Breen Cup primary school competition on Tuesday, many thanks to Tiernan Sludden and St Johns school for organising the tournament.

All club supporters will have a chance to sign up for our Big Solo event this Friday evening at the senior match, the event itself takes place on 24th June, this is a special event to celebrate out 90th year, everyone of all ages will be able to take part and it will all be done in your own townland, a great day is in store so we look forward to you all taking part.

All members are reminded that membership forms are available in Montague’s Shop, the fee for mens club are just £10 for children and £50 for adults, anyone who wants to join our Cairde Droim Mór scheme can contact Gerard (07840 037085), Aidy (07597 071205) or Joe (07821 719969) for more details.

The Ciorcal Comhrá Irish language conversation continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table. Our Ranganna Gaelige (Irish language classes) have some date changes for the next few weeks, the classes will take place on An Luain 22nd agus An Mháirt 30th in St John’s School from 7-8:00 p.m.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (10th) were 6, 11, 12, 14, 17 and 18, there were 12 winners with 4 correct numbers each.
