Our U20’s defeated Aghyaran 6-10 to 2-07 in their first game last weekend, this Sunday they travel to play Edendork at 11:00.
The U16’s team are due to play away to Omagh on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. while the U16 Development team are away to Killyclogher this Saturday at 11:00.
Our youth coaching for U8.5, U10.5 and U12.5 starts on Saturday 25th March at 10:00, please note there will also be a registration morning at the pitch at the same time.
Our Gaelic Start program for pre-school and P1 takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:00 in the Sports Hall.
We will be hosting a night on Saturday 25th March to kick off our special 90th season. Starting with our special club mass at 7pm, we will then have some refreshments in Dromore Sports Complex from 7:45 where our 2022 Under 15 Championship Finalists and Reserve Double Winners will be presented. We will have some reflections on stage on the night from members and past players, as well as discussions on our ambitions for the future. On the night we will also be revealing our concept plans for our proposed new club building and seeking feedback and suggestions on that. We hope you will join us as we kick off our special 90th season.
All members are reminded that membership forms are available in Montague’s Shop, the fee for mens club are just £10 for children and £50 for adults.
Dancing classes continue on Tuesday evenings in Dromore Sports Hall from 8:15 to 9:45, come along and bring a friend for a good evenings craic, refreshments will be provided and the cost is just £3.
Irish language classes for beginners and improvers continue on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m., the classes take place in St. John’s School and cost just £3 per night, newcomers are most welcome. The Ciorcal Comhrá Irish language conversation continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (8th) were 6, 8, 11, 14, 24 and 29, there were 12 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Next week’s jackpot in Ireland's biggest club lotto is £25,000, remember you can do the lotto via tickets in all local shops or online at www.dromoregfc.com.
Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent club meeting to the McQuaid (Omagh), McNaboe (Fintona), Cox (Omagh), Healy (England), Quigley (Roslea), Hackett, Doherty, Donnelly, Crudden (Kilawley) and Breen (Tattysallagh) families on their recent bereavements.
