Irish language classes for beginners and improvers are taking place on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m., the classes take place in St. John’s School and cost just £3 per night, newcomers are most welcome.
The Irish language conversation group continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (7th) were 5, 14, 19, 22, 27 and 28, there were 10 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Declan McNulty went one better with 5 correct numbers winning £250. The winners in week 3 of our 5 week Xmas draw were Aidy Walsh £250, Cathal Forbes (Ardboe) £100 and Gerry McGread £50.
