Our Gaelic Start continues on Friday evenings from 6:15 to 7:00 in the Sports Centre and is for boys and girls who are in Pre School, P1 and P2.

There are Cártaí Nollag (Christmas Cards) with scenes of Dromore for sale in local outlets. Pack of 6 for £5.

The club are hosting an Oíche Ghaelach night in the Central Bar this Friday, with a Popup Gaeltacht from 8pm-9pm, Tráth na gCeist (Quiz) from 9pm-10pm and a Seisún Cecil agus Damhsa (music session and dancing) from 10pm-11:30pm, Christmas jumpers are optional and there will be refreshments on the night, please note that you do not have to speak Irish to take part in the quiz, all proceeds are in aid of the local St Vincent de Paul.

Irish language classes for beginners and improvers are taking place on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m., the classes take place in St. John’s School and cost just £3 per night, newcomers are most welcome. The Irish language conversation group continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (30th) were 2, 7, 10, 16, 25 and 28, there were 15 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Pauline Smyth, Fiona Burt and Phil Kearney all went one better with 5 correct numbers each winning £85. The results of week one of our 5 week xmas draw were Nigel Simpson £250, Anthony McGlynn £100 and Ann Donaghey £50 and the results of week two were Pius Fox £250, Marie & Denis Teague £100 and Martina McCarron £50.
