Well done to our senior men who put in a great performance to defeat Killyclogher in the first round of the senior championship last Friday evening on a 3-09 to 1-10 scoreline, they advance now to play Omagh in the quarter final next weekend.

Our U15A team drew 1-10 to 3-04 away to Both Domhnaigh on Monday evening to qualify for the league semi finals, this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Pairc Gheardhromma they begin their championship campaign at home to Dungannon. Our U15B team had a great 7-07 to 5-06 win after extra time in an epic semi final of the grade 4 championship, they now play Cookstown in the championship final this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in Loughmacrory, best of luck to all the lads and management.

The MFC link for club merchandise is currently open from now until Monday 2nd October, this will be the last chance to order club merchandise for delivery before Xmas, you will find the link on our Facebook page or on the MFC websit.

Old Time Dance led by Marie Garrity will be starting again in St. Patrick’s Hall on Tuesday 4th October from 8:30 – 10:00 p.m., these classes were enjoyed by all who attended last term. Come along for plenty of dancing, tea and craic, bring a friend!

There will be a new batch of Irish language classes starting on Monday 3rd October from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. for beginners and improvers, the classes will take place in St. John’s School and cost just £3 per night. The Irish language conversation group continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.

The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (21st) were 8, 10, 13, 25, 27 and 28, there were 11 winners with 4 correct numbers each.
