Our U15A team lost out 4-12 to 5-07 away to Clonoe last Saturday in a great game while the U15B team defeated Dungannon 9-09 to 3-07 in their championship game and now play Errigal Ciaran in the quarter final on Wednesday (14th) evening at home at 6:30. The U15A team play at home to Galbally this Saturday at 4:00 in Pairc Gheardhroma.
Old Time Dance led by Marie Garrity will be starting again in St. Patrick’s Hall on Tuesday 4th October from 8:30 – 10:00 p.m., these classes were enjoyed by all who attended last term. Come along for plenty of dancing, tea and craic, bring a friend! The Irish language conversation group continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.
The Torthaí Lató (lotto winning numbers) for last week (7th) were 2, 9, 10, 12, 16 and 23, there were 19 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Patsy McCaughey (Trillick) went one better winning £250 with 5 correct numbers. Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly meeting to the Carron / Bresnahan (Omagh), Monaghan (Clanabogan), Corey, Gilmour, Slevin (Australia), McCann, Maguire (Liverpool) and Gallagher (Canada) on their recent bereavements.
