Our seniors had a tight 1-10 to 1-09 victory away to Coalisland last Friday evening while the reserves won 1-11 to 0-06. This Friday both teams are at home to Donaghmore at 6:30 and 8:00, can we ask that supporters park in either St John’s or the chapel car park and not along the roadside.
Our U13’s exited the championship conceding a late goal to finish level at full time before losing out in extra time to Beragh.
Coaching continues on Saturday mornings for U7.5’s, U9.5’s and U11.5’s.
The club are hosting a Coffee Morning in the Sports Hall on Sunday 19th June from 10:30 – 12:00 to mark the 25th anniversary of the death of Paul McGirr, all proceeds go to the Spirit of Paul McGirr Trust who are currently building a secondary school in a deprived area in Zambia. There will be some special guest speakers there on the morning, please support this if possible.
There is a bursary available for anyone (both adults and children) that are attending the Gaeltacht this year, to receive your bursary contact Conal on 07815 784962.
The club are running a summer camp in conjunction with AB Coaching from 4th – 6th July for boys and girls from P2 up to year 9, you can register your kids at www.abcoaching.ie
The Comhra Irish language conversation group continues on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Village Table.
Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly meeting to the Mallon (Moneymore) and O’Rafferty (Dublin) families on their recent bereavements.
