The club are having our AGM on Friday 21st at 8:00 p.m.in St. Patricks Hall, come along to get a run down on how your club has done on and off the field over the last 12 months and hear our future plans, everyone welcome.
We are having an Oiche Na Seaimpni (Night Of Champions) celebratory Gala dinner to celebrate our county title in the Armagh City Hotel on Saturday 5th March, ticket for this will be available next week, details will be on facebook, with tickets limited and a large crowd expected it is advised that tickets be bought as early as possible, buses to and from the venue will be available.
Our Health and Wellbeing committee are currently running an ‘Every Step Counts’ Challenge over the next 5 weeks, details on how to sign up are on facebook.
The new series of online Irish language classes is taking place on Monday evenings from 8-9 p.m., there are classes for both complete beginners and beginner improvers, to book your place contact Conal on 07815 784962.
There are still a few of the DVD’s documenting our journey to the recent county title available, the dvd is available from Montague’s Shop priced at £20 each.
The lotto winning numbers for last week (12th) were 5, 6, 18, 20, 26 and 27, there were 14 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Next week’s jackpot in Ireland's biggest club lotto is £25,000, remember you can do the lotto via tickets in all local shops or online at www.dromoregfc.com.
Everyone at the club would like to express our deepest sympathies to the Hughes family on the death of Fergus, Fergus was our club vice president and had served the club in many different roles including chairman in his many years of service to Dromore GAA, Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
