FOGRA - AGM UPDATE
Thu, 21 Jan 2021
Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 regulations, it is not possible for us to hold a traditional public meeting for our AGM as we have been accustomed to. It is vital that club business can continue and our club committee can move forward and plan for the year ahead and beyond. In the absence of a traditional AGM, the following alternative arrangements have been made.

A copy of the Chairman’s address and Secretary’s address will be made available to all club members. Members can request copies by emailing Secretary, Joe Rafferty on secretary.dromore.tyrone@gaa.ie or by phone on 07821719969 by Sunday 24th January .

The Treasurer’s report will be available to view for club members by appointment only, in person or via online meeting. To arrange a viewing, contact Treasurer, Aodhán O’Donnell by email to treasurer.dromore.tyrone@gaa.ie or by phone on 07597071205 by Sunday 24th January.

All club officers have indicated their willingness to serve for another year in their respective positions. We are grateful for their continued efforts. It is proposed that the sitting committee will ratify club officer positions for the year ahead at the earliest opportunity for a monthly meeting. However, if members would like to forward alternative nominations for any positions, then please do so to club secretary by Sunday 24th January.

Any matters that would typically be dealt with by the way of motions should be submitted to club secretary for consideration by the 2021 committee.

Anyone who would like to serve on the club committee for the year ahead should contact Club Chairman, Gerry Hannigan by email to chairperson.dromore.tyrone@gaa.ie or by phone on 07840037085. These applications will be considered by the sitting committee at the earliest opportunity.

We are sure all our club members will appreciate that we are in difficult and unprecedented times, and the alternative AGM arrangements have been made with the interests of our community in mind and in an effort to avoid public contacts, whilst also avoiding exclusion of members who do not have the means to access online meetings. If anyone has any questions relating to any of the above then please do reach out to any committee member.
