Our Seniors lost out 1-9 to 3-5 to Donaghmore at the weekend, their final league game is away to Ardboe on Sunday week.
Our U16’s lost out in their championship quarter final by the minimum margin on Saturday morning 0-7 to 2-2 to Loughmacrory, this brought their season to an end so many thanks to their managers Tiernan Sludden, Decky McNulty, Kevin Cunningham and Danny Colton for all their work with this team.
The Big Breakfast morning last Saturday was a huge success, particular thanks go to Tom and Anna Ward, the youth committee, the Dromore ladies cluband the Dromore Sports Centre for all their help, also Strathroy Dairy, McMenamin Poultry, Eamon O'Kane, Krazy Kastles, Dooleys Bus Hire, Molloys Butchers and Esker Mushrooms for their kind sponsorship, this brought an end to the coaching season for U8’s, U10’s and U12’s, thank you to all their coaches for their commitment throughout the year.
On Friday evening at 8:00 in Garvaghy we have the launch of the Paul McGirr U16 Club Champions Tournament, all club members are invited to come along to the launch and view some of the wonderful work the Spirit Of Paul McGirr Foundation is doing for the less fortunate in Lusaka, Zambia, tea and refreshments will be provided on the evening.
