Commiserations to the U16 boys who came agonising close before losing out 0-11 to 2-07 against Killeshil in the championship final, it was a great achievement to reach this far, well done to all the boys and their management team of Kevin O’Brien, Aidan Goodwin and Niall Colton on a great season that showed very good prospects for things to come.

The U13’s fared better against the same opposition winning their semi-final 4-07 to 2-03, their county final is on this Saturday in Garvaghy, the time is not known at time of going to press but will be on facebook later in the week, best of luck to all those involved.

There is coaching for the U8’s taking place from 6:15 to 7:15 on Wednesday evenings in the Sports Complex and the U10’s are from 7:00 to 8:00 on Thursday evenings.

Our Running / Walking group has recommenced on Thursday evenings at 8:00 at Gardrum Park, this is free of charge to anyone in the parish and all ages and fitness levels are welcome.

The club are launching the Paul McGirr Ulster U16 tournament on Saturday 22nd October in Garvaghy at 6:00, everyone is welcome to come along and refreshments are provided.

Lotto winning numbers for last week were 2, 14, 25, 25, 26 and 29 there were 15 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Declan McAleer (Drumquin), Edel McCullagh and Rosemary Teague (Fintona Road) all went close to scooping the jackpot with 5 correct numbers.

Next weeks jackpot is £21,050, the lotto sellers for this weekend are Harry O’Neill (Church St.), Matt McNulty (Corner), Kevin O’Neill (O'Connors) and Eugene McGuigan (Central). Our club lotto is now available to do On-Line, go to our club website www.dromoregfc.com for more details.

Votes of sympathy were passed at the last monthly meeting to the O’Rawe (Ballymena), Hunter, McBrearty, Gallagher and McCoy families on their recent bereavements.
