Unfortunately things didn’t work out for the U16 boys on Sunday and they were defeated by O’Donovan Rossa in the semi final of the Paul McGirr Ulster U16 Club Champions Tournament on Sunday, this ends what has been a great season for the boys, they have been a credit to the club and their families, thanks to their managers Niall, Joe, Brian and Conor for their work throughout the year.
The scene is set now for what promises to be a great final on Sunday between O’Donovan Rossa and Clann Eireann, the game itself is at 2:00 so we would ask as many stewards as possible to be there from 1:00.
All club members are asked to keep Sunday 10th of January free for the clubs AGM.
Anyone interested in taking over the sponsorship of the senior team for the coming season can contact Barry on 07541 418217 or Joe on 07821 719969.
Anyone who wants to contribute to the Canon Tom Breen stand can contact any committee member for details, all contributors will be recognised on a permanent plaque that will be on display in the stand.
The first 2 draws in the Xmas 5 week Draw took place last night, the results will be on the club website and in next weeks notes, the third draw will take place next Wednesday.
Lotto winning numbers for last week were 6, 8, 11, 12, 19 and 26, there were 11 winners predicting 4 numbers each, next weeks jackpot is £18,800. The lotto sellers for this weekend are Joe Rafferty (Church St.), Frank Lawlor (Corner), Aidan McCarron (O'Connors) and Kevin Sludden (Central).
