Our senior season ended on a disappointing note when they surrendered a five point lead to lose out in the league semi final against Carrickmore, the scoreline ended 1-11 to 1-10.
However it is not the end of football for Dromore for 2015 as our U16’s are still flying the flag high having defeated Enniskillen Gaels 1-14 to 2-07 in the Paul McGirr U16 Club Champions Tournament preliminary round. The boys will now face Donegal champions St. Eunan’s of Letterkenny on Saturday 14th.
This Saturday the tournament continues with the fixture between Derry champions Magherafelt O’Donovan Rossa and Monaghan winners Inniskeen at 12:00 in Gardrum Park. Another quarter final between Down champions Bredagh and Armagh’s Clann Ereann may also take place over the weekend, keep an eye on facebook and the cub website for details.
The club are now taking orders for club merchandise for the Xmas market, order forms are available in Montagues Shop and on the club website.
Anyone who wants to contribute to the Canon Tom Breen stand can contact any committee member for details, all contributors will be recognised on a permanent plaque that will be on display in the stand.
Lotto winning numbers for last week were 11, 15, 17, 23, 24 and 28, there were 16 winners predicting 4 numbers each and next weeks jackpot is £18,600. The lotto sellers for this weekend are Harry O'Neill (Church St.), Matt McNulty (Corner), Kevin O'Neill (O'Connors) and Eugene McGuigan (Central)
