Pride of place this week goes to our victorious U16 team and management who won our first U16 Championship title since 1988 with a tremendous performance against Loughmacrory last Saturday. The boys recovered from a first minute goal to emerge 0-13 to 1-04 victors, however their season has not ended as they now go on to represent our club and county in the Paul McGirr U16 Club Champions Tournament where they take part in the preliminary round this Saturday at 2:00 in Gardrum Park against Fermanagh champions Enniskillen, let’s get a big Dromore crowd out to cheers the boys on.
The other big fixture of this weekend sees the seniors play Carrickmore at 3:00 on Sunday in Gardrum Park in the All County League Semi Final, best of luck to all involved.
The club are now taking orders for club merchandise for the Xmas market, order forms are available in Montagues Shop and on the club website.
Anyone who wants to contribute to the Canon Tom Breen stand can contact any committee member for details, all contributors will be recognised on a permanent plaque that will be on display in the stand.
Lotto winning numbers for last week were 5, 9, 10, 16, 23 and 27, there were 15 winners predicting 4 numbers each and next weeks jackpot is £18,600. The lotto sellers for this weekend are Gavin Winters (Church St.), Eugene McGuigan (Corner), Martin Sludden (O'Connors) and Seamus McNabb (Central).
