Commiserations to our senior ladies team and their management as they lost out narrowly after extra time to Connaught champions St. Ciarans in the All-Ireland semi-final last Sunday, however they have done themselves and their club proud and have shown great promise for the future of the ladies club.

The U16 boys were unlucky to lose out in the final of the P.J. Roper tournament in Ballshannon last Saturday.

With Antrim champions St. Brigids winning the second semi-final of the Paul McGirr Ulster U16 Club Champions Tournament last weekend the stage is set for the final this Sunday at 2:00 between themselves and Burren. A great match and large crowd is in store so we would ask for as much help as possible with the stewarding, all stewards to be present from 1:00 p.m..

The mens club are running a fund raising boxing tournament at the end of February and we are currently looking for volunteers to take part, both male and female, full training will be provided. It will be a fun and challenging of getting into shape over the winter months. We are also looking for sponsors for the event, sponsors can contribute in many ways to the event. If you are interested in taking part or helping with sponsorship contact Niall McNulty (07909 972709) or Jimmy Quinn (07809 301422) .

Tickets are now in circulation for our christmas draw, with £3,000 in prizes we hope everyone can get behind this draw. If you think you would be able to help the club by selling a few books at work or to your relatives, please contact Barry Campbell on 07541 418217, the first week of the draw had been postponed until Wednesday 26th.

If anyone is interested in putting their name forward for one of the positions within the club committee at the upcoming AGM, please forward your name to Barry or Joe Rafferty.
