The seniors recorded a 1-15 to 2-08 win over Killyclogher in Ballinamullan last Saturday to cement their place at the top of the table and guarantee a home fixture in the league semi finals. They play their final league game this Sunday at 2:00 away to Eskra.

The U16's progressed to the league semi-final following a hard fought and narrow 1-10 to 0-12 victory at home to Galbally last Saturday. They will be hoping for an improved display this Saturday when they play Errigal Ciaran in the championship semi-final at 12:00, the game takes place in Eskra and all support is welcome for the boys.

Off the field this week the big event is the launch of the 2014 Paul McGirr Ulster U16 Club Champions Tournament which takes place tomorrow (Friday) night in the Tyrone GAA centre in Garvaghy at 8:00, all committee and club supporters are asked to come along to this event, there are some exciting new developments planned this year for the tournament which is well established as one of the provinces leading youth competitions. Refreshments will be provided on the evening.

Well done to our senior ladies team who won their Ulster championship quarter final in impressive style against Cavan champions Lurgan last Saturday.

New Club Kit Bags are now available in Montague's Shop and also orders for club merchandise for Christmas will be taken shortly.

Lotto numbers for last week were 10, 11, 13, 16, 21 and 23, there were 11 winners with 4 correct numbers each and the £50 monthly draw was won by Mary Mulligan (Irvinestown). Next week's lotto jackpot is £16,000.

The October monthly committee meeting will take place on Monday evening at 9:00 in St. Patricks Hall.
