Our senior team made it 7 out of 7 with a scintillating display on Sunday at home to Cookstown emerging 1-13 to 0-05 victors.

The reserves were somewhat unlucky to gain only a draw following a 0-11 to 0-11 result.

However the day was marred by a horrible leg injury received by star forward Niall Sludden, the thoughts of everyone involved with the club are with Niall as he begins his recovery, no doubt we will see him back to his best.

The U21 team begin the defence of the county title on Sunday evening at 7:00 in Gardrum Park against Pomeroy.

Big congratulations to the U14 boys who secured the U14 league title last Wednesday evening following a commanding performance against Killyclogher where they emerged 6-12 to 1-06 victors. Unfortunately they lost out narrowly to Ardboe 2-09 to 0-11 in the championship on Saturday.

All focus for them now is on the All-Ireland Feile which they head to next weekend. The U14's are running a Night At The Races in St. Johns school to raise funds for the Feile tomorrow night (Friday) at 7:30, entry is free and everybody is welcome to come along to enjoy the craic and support the boys who will be receiving their new gear on the night. At this stage we still need 3 more race sponsors, if you are interested call Joe Rafferty (07821 719969).

The U12's have a tournament in Dunmoyle this Saturday morning, all players to be at Gardrum Park for 8:45, then they face Omagh in Omagh next Monday evening, transport to leave the pitch at 6:00.

Coaching will continue as normal for U8's at 10:00 on Saturday morning, while the U10's have a blitz in Omagh, transport to leave the pitch at 9:30.

Last Saturday we had a very successful Golf tournament and barbecue and we would like to thank everyone involved in running both events, the day would not have been the same without the help of all who done so much.

Lotto numbers for last week were 5, 6, 8, 11, 23 and 27, there were 23 winners with 4 correct numbers each and Philomena McNabb went close to scooping the huge jackpot with 5 correct numbers, winning £250 in the process. Next weeks jackpot will be £12,750.
