The U16's were the only team in action this week and it was a disappointing week losing 2-08 to 2-07 away to Killyclogher and then just managing a draw at home to Omagh 0-14 to 2-08. They are due to travel to play Owen Roes tonight for a 7:00 throw-in and then away to Owen Roes next Wednesday again starting at 7:00.

Can any club member willing to help with a clean up of Gardrum Park come along on Thursday evening at 7:00 and bring a shovel or brush.

All roads lead to Gardrum Park this weekend with an action packed schedule to mark the opening of our new pitch. There will be a music festival taking place in the marquee in Gardrum Park with a country music night on Friday night, the Whistling Donkeys on Saturday and Lisa McHugh on Sunday, see separate ad for details.

On Saturday morning there will be an Inter-County U12 tournament taking place starting at 10:30 on the new pitch, all Dromore players to report for 10:00.

There is a leisure cycle race on Sautrday afternoon, registration takes place in St. Patricks Hall from 12:00 to 1:00 with a 50 mile and a 25 mile cycle, a donation from the proceeds will be going to Cancer Focus. Then at 3:00 there is a primary schools disco taking place in the marquee.

On Sunday afternoon there will be a family fun day in Gardrum Park with bouncy castles, animal fun farm, sports and novelty events. The official opening of the new pitch will take place at 4:00 followed be music and light refreshments in the marquee, admission on Sunday is £5 for one child or £10 for a family, adults are free. So we are asking all club supporters to come along and enjoy the day and dont forget your cameras.

Last weeks lotto numbers were 5, 8, 12, 18, 23 and 26, there were 9 winners with 4 correct numbers each. Next weeks jackpot will be £13,300.

Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent club meeting to the Barrett, Coyle (Carrickmore) and McAleer (Drumquin) families on their recent bereavements.
