Weather conditions put paid to any football last week but hopefully this week will see football action return. The U14 development team are first up this Saturday when they travel to play Glenelly for a 10:30 throw in, all players to be at the pitch for 9:15, parents are asked to provide transport. Then the U14A team travel to play Newtownstewart for a 1:00 start, the venue for this is not yet decided, keep an eye on the website and facebook for any changes, once again parents are asked to provide transport for this game.

On Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 in the sports hall, the club are providing some very important classes for all youth players from U14 to U18, it is vital that all youth players attend these sessions.

The winner of the recent 'Guess The Score' run by our U14 team for the recent Tyrone v Dublin game was Caolan McKenna and the lucky dip winner was Niall Colton.

A great night was had by all last Saturday night in St. Patricks Hall at the clubs celebration night. Our U21's were presented with their county medals, but the highlight of the night was the stories that were told and the newspaper cuttings that were on display in honouring the 1963 U16 and junior championship winning teams. Thankfully many of the players of 1963 were there on the night and it was a great night of nostalgia, a special word of thanks goes to Colm MacRory from Spires Art who provided such beautiful momentos for all involved.

Lotto numbers for last week were 9, 14, 18, 24, 27 and 30, there were 11 winners with 4 correct numbers and the lotto jackpot got its biggest scare in sometime when there were 3 winners with 5 correct numbers each, they were Josephine Norris, Vera McMackin and Frances Masterson. Next weeks jackpot will be £12,200 and tickets are available from most retails outlets in the town.
